We do not give refunds but we do offer 2 options for Warriors who are unable to take part for any reason. No deferred entries can be made to registrations under any circumstances after midnight 7th June 2024.

Option 1 – Make a substitution (£15 p/p) – up to midnight 20th June

Login to your Race Space account. Go to your ‘My Entries’ tab and click ‘Entry Actions’, then select ‘Transfer Entry’. Once you have confirmed the Transfer, a Transfer Credit will be added to your account. Enter the same event, using the details of the person you would like to substitute to. At checkout select the Transfer Credit to use it towards payment.

Substitutions can be made on the day for £20. In order to do this, substitutes must bring a copy of the original ticket with them, signed on the back by the registered participant as proof that they are substituting their place. The original ticket will then be cancelled and the new participant will need to register in full, at Registration Help on the day. If you select this option, please make sure you arrive in plenty of time before your allocated start wave to avoid disappointment.

Option 2 – Defer your entry (£30 p/p) – up to midnight 7th June

Login to your RaceSpace account and follow the below steps:

Select ‘My Entries’ from the main menu
Click on ‘Entry Actions’
Click on ‘Transfer Entry’ (if this option is not there, then it is not possible to transfer from this race)
Check your transfer conditions and confirm the Transfer.
You now have a transfer credit which you can use on any future event. Don’t worry if you don’t know which event you’d like to transfer to, or if it’s not live yet.

You have up to 12 months to spend the credit (from the date of the original event).

Your credit will automatically become available to you at checkout on eligible events.

Total Warrior is an extreme event. The distances vary from 3K to 12K, so being able to cover this distance is a minimum requirement for the event you are entering. The terrain and obstacles will make this much harder than a standard event (expect to double your time!). Check out the Training Page for more info.

Good question, it’s the summer but it’s also the UK so our advice is to come prepared! You’ll obviously need your normal running gear and make sure you have tight trainers as you may be likely to lose one in the mud! We would also advise you to wear something you are happy not to need in the future! A full change of warm clothes is essential along with a towel.

A full change of clothes along with your running gear and a towel. A wise man once said, “There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!” There will be food outlets, TW Merchandise, activities and a bar onsite so you will need to bring money with you. We’re moving towards becoming a cashless event so better if you can bring your card but most vendors still take cash as well.

There are some great obstacle events across the UK but Total Warrior prides itself on having the greatest course set in the finest venue. Our focus is on providing the best possible quality in every area, from the location, course and event village through to the after party, music and bar. But don’t take our word for it, check out the Mudstacle Review to see for yourself. Come prepared for a festival style action packed weekend!

Total Warrior uses an online only registration process. You can register here.

Yes, the main car park is located in the adjacent field to the Event Village. Car parking is £6 per car and £12 per bus. We are aiming to go cashless for our car park so please bring a card with you to help speed up the traffic flow. Please also try to car share where possible.

Any bus/coach above 16 seats MUST pre-book parking. If you are planning to come in a coach, please email thechief@totalwarrior.co.uk to reserve a space. Any coaches that are not booked in advance, will not be able to park on site.

Yes we have both on site in the event village. The key drop is charged at £3 per set of keys and the bag drop is £3 per bag. If you use both services, the price is reduced to £5. All keys and bags are left 100% at the owners risk.

Each wave will have a maximum number of entrants and will set off at 20-25 minute intervals. We set off in waves to avoid major bottlenecks and queues forming.

The course will be built in the weeks and months leading up to the event but you can see a list of some of the obstacles on our Course page that previous Warriors have had to face. Why not have a look, get excited (and maybe a little scared) about what lies ahead!

Yes, the results from events are posted online via links our website. You can view these immediately after you cross the finish line. You can also pay a small supplement when registering to have your time texted to you.

Photos will be available to purchase online after the event. Details of how and when will be circulated via email and social media.

This means an accompanying adult aged 18+ can run with a maximum of 5 participants aged 16 and/or 17 years old.

Half (6K) – You must be at least 14 years old on the day of the event you are entering. All accompanying adults MUST stay with, and be responsible for, the participants they are chaperoning at all times around the course.

No, but for The Original (12K) and Half (6K) you may need to submerge (briefly) on some water obstacles. You will not be out of your depth so swimming is not a pre requisite. There are a number of water obstacles but all deep water obstacles will have lifeguards, signs and a shallower alternative or you can simply miss an obstacle if preferred.

Hopefully a fellow Warrior will help you, but if you really can’t complete an obstacle one of our marshals will allow you to miss the obstacle and will determine if you are able to carry on. All that we ask is that Warriors give every obstacle their best attempt. If you are going in an early wave and attempting to win the event or qualify for the World Championships, those waves will receive special instruction on the day.

Not for most events. The Total Warrior Original Friday night 12K event is a challenge to try to get back before sunset so this event has a 2 hour time limit.

Yes, top quality food will be available on site along with a bar. We’re moving towards becoming a cashless event so please bring a card with you for payments, although most stands will also accept cash. There are no cash machines on site or nearby.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

The Total Warrior volunteer army are simply unbelievable! There are lots of exciting volunteering opportunities within Total Warrior so please go to the Volunteers Page for more info or drop us an email to thechief@totalwarrior.co.uk.

The Junior Warrior course is roughly 3K and contains around 8 to 10 obstacles.

The obstacles will vary from event to event. However, they are all built with the age range in mind, so we aim to ensure they are both achievable for the younger Warriors, whilst offering a challenge for our older and stronger Warriors. Our construction team are awesome, and they tailor-make obstacles to deliver on both fronts. Keep an eye on the website for course details – including descriptions of each obstacle – as we get closer to the event. There is no height restriction for this event. Junior Warriors are welcome with us whether they’re taller than their old man, or shorter than their old dog!

Yes, you are welcome to run round with your child and take on most of the obstacles with them. Marshals will let you know if adults are not allowed to take on certain obstacles for any reason. We also set the course up to make it great for friends and family to spectate. The more noise the better please, so dig out those bells/clappers/drums/bang sticks/signs/big hands/enthusiastic grandparents etc.

Absolutely. It’s not just Total Warriors who get nervous. Our kids feel it too, and we understand that 100%. No pressure, just head down to the Event Village, grab an ice cream and let your child get a feel for it. If you or they have any questions, grab a member of the Total Warrior team and we’ll try to answer any questions you might have. Registration is available ahead of each wave (depending on availability), so if your child is keen, head to the registration tent and we’ll get them sorted. It’s cheaper to register in advance as this helps us to plan our logistics (medals etc) so please be aware you will pay a bit more registering on the day. Please note that Junior Warrior often sells out now and we can NOT offer registration on the day if that event is sold out.

Yes, Junior Warrior is for 6 to 13 yr olds and they can run together as long as you select the same wave time. Kids aged 5 or younger are not able to participate.

Any kit they feel comfortable being active in and kit you don’t mind getting (very) muddy! Likewise with shoes. We do have male and female changing facilities in our Event Village. Be sure to bring a full change of warm clothes and a towel as they will get wet and muddy. Please make sure laces are tied very tightly as we find an unbelievable amount of shoes after the event on our Junior Warrior course!

No. There will be water based obstacles but nothing which requires swimming. As with our distance events, Junior Warrior is about FUN. Junior Warriors can miss out any obstacles they do not feel comfortable with and can continue round the course.

There is no charge for spectating at Junior Warrior but you will need to pay if you want to run round the course with them. The price is the same for adults and children. There is a a £6 charge for all cars at the event.

You will receive information via email with your start time ahead of the event. On the day, you’ll need to go to registration in order to confirm some key details for us, and pick up your bib(s) and some other goodies. You must do this before heading to the start line.

If you are part of a very large team, we are unable to move the team wave to accommodate this. However, if you are happy to run solo, please email thechief@totalwarrior.co.uk and we may be able to move you to a different wave, depending on event capacity. There are also more Junior Waves this year so it should give you more flexibility around start times and we can easily change your Junior Warrior start time. Failing that you also have the option to run on different days (Sat/Sun) if that helps.

Our car park team will welcome you, and follow the crowds (and the noise) to our Event Village. You’ll see signs for registration – that’s your first port of call and the team will advise you from there.

We do not give refunds but we do offer 2 options for Junior Warriors who are unable to take part for any reason:
Option 1 – Make a substitution (£5 p/p)
Option 2 – Defer your entry to a future event (£10 p/p)

No changes (substitutions or deferred entries) can be made to registrations under any circumstances after midnight 17th June. To defer or substitute you MUST email thechief@totalwarrior.co.uk stating your name, email address, which event and day you have entered along with your request and we’ll be happy to help you.

Ultra Warrior was new in 2017 and was a great success so it is now a permanent fixture in our event weekend. The concept is simple. Run as many 12K laps as you can in 5 hrs but be quick as this events sells out very quickly due to the limited spaces available.

The course will have two check points, one at the start/finish line and one approximately at the half way point. So you can complete half and full laps. The winner is the participant who completes the most number of complete or half laps in the fastest possible time. But that is just a small part of the challenge. The real challenge is a personal challenge to see how many laps you can do. It’s a phenomenal achievement to tackle 5 hours of a Total Warrior course, so all Ultra Warriors will receive an exclusive Ultra Warrior t-shirt and a medal recognising the number of laps you’ve completed. That’s in addition to the usual goodies of course.

First of all, Total Warrior’s whole set up focusses on the event experience for each participant. This means scheduling the waves, setting wave capacity and planning the layout of the course to reduce the chances of anyone standing in queues. For Ultra Warrior, we will be capping entry at 200. Furthermore, we start the Ultra Warriors just before all the first Sunday wave sets off to give you an empty course to start off with.

Great question. In Total Warrior if you have a good reason to miss an obstacle, there is no obligation to try it and certainly no ‘punishment’. All we ask is that every Warrior gives each obstacle their best shot. There is no difference with Ultra Warrior, but in order to maintain fairness, marshals will radio in if runners frequently miss an obstacle without good reason.

Yes. There are 2 or 3 water stations per lap including the finish line. There will be a refuel station at the finish available for Ultra Warriors as they pass through to begin another lap and you will be able to store bags and personal fuel/hydration at the transition point.

No, it’s strictly the Total Warrior course. That said, our design and build team are a creative bunch who love a last minute twist, so you’ll just have to wait and see!

Absolutely! You will need all the encouragement you can get so why not enter with your mates. Check out the Teams page to find out more.
